I’m not a coffee drinker, so I typically rely on a hot cup of tea in the morning to get me going. My mother always used herbal teas, like mint.
I am not a big fan of mint, but like fresh tea. My mother introduced me to moringa tea a few years ago and told me I could grow it.
So, I ordered a package of Moringa Seeds, and decided to see if I could grow it in my backyard. I put a few in a pot and within a few days I started to see something sprout out.

I placed the plant in the ground, and within a few months I had a full grown tree in my backyard. I couldn’t believe how fast it grew.

I started harvesting the leaves for my morning tea. I had so much that I started to dry the leaves.
I keep a few dried leaves at my desk at work, I have some at home and I mail out lots to my aunts.
To make the tea, simply place the fresh or dried moringa leaves in a tea strainer and seep in hot water. I usually keep my tea cup with the infuser at work so I can quickly make my tea.
Enjoy!
